DEBUT ALBUM THUNDERCLOUD OUT SOON!
Plumhall draws inspiration from many different styles, leaning towards Americana, folk and pop, but you just can't pin them down and that's how they like it! They write and deliver beautiful, lyrically poignant songs with such chemistry and passion, your heart will be theirs by the end of the first verse!
Michelle is a former member of Chumbawamba, Waking the Witch and The Accidental Tourists, and has supported Aimee Mann, Capercaillie, Ralph McTell, Nerina Pallot, Texas and Shane MacGowan to name but a few.
Nick B Hall has been a member of the Hall Brothers band nearly all his life, and has supported Fairport Convention, Hugh Cornwell, Show of Hands, Kate Rusby, Glenn Tilbrook
plus many more.
Together they have supported Miles Hunt
and Erica Nockalls
of The Wonderstuff, My Darling Clementine, Torn Sail, Andy White
and Peter Tork
of The Monkees.
Michelle has just appeared as guest vocalist of Katriona Gilmore & Jamie Roberts
on their 2013 UK spring tour.
What people are saying about Plumhall:
"I'm a bit of a sucker for a powerfully played acoustic guitar and Plumhall deliver exactly that, twice over. Both Nick & Michelle possess voices that could easily be the focus of the duo, combined they deliver a mighty force. Smart lyric writing and wonderful harmonies set them above most of their contemporaries. Add to all that their easy stage manner and you've got yourself a great show. In all the acoustic touring that Erica Nockalls and I have done in recent years, it is rare indeed that we get to see writers and performers of such distinction."
Miles Hunt (The Wonderstuff), July 2013
"a fine duo...go and see them if you get a chance"
Steve Knightley (Show of Hands), on BBC Radio Leeds December 2013
"a superduo... a wealth of talent... a real sense of passion and attack"
"Like watching Springsteen and Emmylou - awesome!"
Steve Chapman Smith (Troubadors, Red Lorry Yellow Lorry)
"I like the ones I can line dance to"
